Art Teleported

I went to Turku, Finland to be part of a show in New York City organised by the Czong Institute for Contemporary Art from South Korea. That’s right! I participated in Art Teleported, the art show and conference for nomadic artists, by teaming up with the Videokaffe collective. That’s a whole lot of name dropping, so let’s back up for a second. New Manhattan: The Opening

Finally I was able to unveil New Manhattan! It will be exhibited until the 10th of February 2019 at Groninger Forum (Public Library), Oude Boteringestraat 18, 9712 GH Groningen. Approximately 70 curious people visited the opening and I really enjoyed watching them discover New Manhattan. Had some good talks, but the time flew by. I just wished I could have spoken with everybody. Before taking the cover off, I did say a few things about the project. Mainly to thank everybody involved. Thanks again! Invitation to the opening of New Manhattan

The crowdfunding campaign for New Manhattan was a succes! At the moment I’m still busy with 3D-printing the architecture of 60 webpages and finishing the interactive installation. But I’d already like to invite you for the opening of the exhibition. The opening takes place on Tuesday the 8th of January at 16:30 in Groningen. This is the best moment to come and see how the city turned out and meet all the participants.
